Café Chavalo builds on a close partnership with the Tierra Nueva collective in Nicaragua, an association of around 250 small scale farmers. Direct and fair trade enables the family businesses improvement of their living conditions and to build up their own social fund. They cultivate their high-quality arabica coffee on small plots in mixed cultures. The organic green coffee beans get to Europe by the power of the wind.
